Head of Procurement – Indirect & Maintenance

This role focuses on bringing structure and ownership to indirect and maintenance procurement within a complex industrial environment. The position has direct impact on operational continuity, quality and reliability.
As Head of Procurement you are responsible for the procurement strategy for indirect spend and maintenance. You operate at the intersection of strategy and daily operations and act as a sparring partner for operations and maintenance. The role has a high level of responsibility, following the departure of a very experienced predecessor, and plays a key part in safeguarding continuity on site.
You develop and execute procurement strategies for indirect materials and services, negotiate on price, quality and supply security, and manage supplier relationships and contract compliance. You work closely with maintenance, production and facility teams and move comfortably between site level and an international context. You report into procurement management and your decisions are directly visible in day to day operations.
What you get in return:
• Annual salary between €85,000 and €100,000 gross
• Bonus of 5 percent plus 6.11 percent additional budget
• Permanent contract with a preference for full time, 32 hours negotiable

Your background:
You hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in a technical or supply chain related field. You have proven experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment, including indirect and maintenance procurement. You are comfortable managing stakeholders in complex organisations and are analytical, decisive and able to work under pressure. Dutch is required, English is essential and German is a plus. You live in the northern or eastern part of the Netherlands, as this is a site based role.
